The Southampton Solent University is committed to a policy of equal opportunities for all users of its Internet site and our web site has been developed to W3C web standards.

This website has been designed with the following accessibility guidelines in mind:

• This site uses relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers.
• The standard font used throughout in the body text is Verdana for easy legibility.
• All text is legible, even with images and style-sheets turned off.
• All images, where appropriate, have textual descriptions of their content.
• All pages conform to web standards recommendations made by the W3C.

We have implemented access keys using the recommended UK Government accesskeys standard.

To take advantage of these, those using a Windows-based system will need to press the 'Alt key' plus the access key and those using the Macintosh system will use the 'Ctrl key' plus the access key.
